Currently the executive director of the Silent Witness National Initiative, a movement working to reduce domestic violence murders, she has launched three consulting companies serving Fortune 500 companies, non-profit organizations, and government agencies. She is the creative force behind two statewide professional organizations and has served as spiritual director for women in prison. She has also served on numerous boards for organizations as diverse as the National Association of Women Business Owners and the Center for Christian Women in Leadership. Janet is the recipient of several professional awards including the Outstanding Alumni Achievement Award from the University of Minnesota. Her credentials include a BA and MSW in social work, all course work completed for a Ph.D., and she is a certified spiritual director. Her clients include 3M, Honeywell, Alcoa, and General Mills as well as numerous large churches. Traveling abroad extensively to pursue her work and passion, Janet brings a multicultural awareness and sensitivity to any organization with which she works-whether as consultant, speaker, or advisor. She loves driving fast cars, is passionate about baseball, takes every opportunity to ski, golf, or snowshoe and reads incessantly.
